It has been Over 31 Years, IHM-Shri Shakti has excelled as a pioneer in the field of Top quality Hospitality Education. It is well known in the world's finest hotels & tourism companies for the same reason.The college is affiliated to Ministry of Tourism, Government of India & is attached to Hotel "The Manohar" in the same campus, this plays an important role in providing students a platform to develop their confidence and hands on experience.
Academic Excellence Award's
Institute of Hotel Management Shri Shakti wins the Academic Excellence Award as Best Hotel Management Education Institute (Private) from Department of Tourism, Government of Telangana on the occasion of World Tourism Day 27th September’ 2025. The Institute is headed by Chairman, Mr. D.V. Manohar, Director, Ms. Yamuna Ranga Rao. The Award was received by Executive Director, Mrs. Satya Pinjala and Marketing Director, Mr.Ravi Pinjala & Principal, Ms. Anita Chandran in the presence of Shri Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Tourism and Culture of Telangana, & Smt. Valluru Kranthi, IAS, Managing Director,TSTDC .
The institute is known for its Academic Excellence and shaping the students career constantly from the past 32 years with the Alumni around the globe in a great position and still flying high .

It was also ranked among the Top Hotel Management Colleges in South India and recognized by Competition Success Review as the Best Hotel Management College in AP & Telangana for two consecutive years (2016 & 2017).
